You have the right to work...

As leaders, we are often motivated by extrinsic rewards, such as compensation, status, or power. What work would we be prepared to do for its own sake? We only find an expression of our purpose when doing the work itself IS the reward.

As Krishna further explains to Arjuna in the Gita, “Those who are motivated only by desire for the fruits of action are miserable, for they are constantly anxious about the results of what they do.”

Even though the Gita is 2,300 years old, this sounds more relevant than ever…
